Gingrich was not a hypocrite. Yes, he now states he had an extramarital affair but really, he drew the line when pursuing Clinton…he went after him due to an alleged felony, perjury and obstruction of justice, not because of the sensationalist news regarding Ms. Lewinsky.

Remember that Bill and Hilary interview by Barbara Walters? Hilary saying that it was all just “a right-wing conspiracy” with the implication that it was instigated by Gingrich and Bill saying that “I did not have sexually relations with that woman”.
Imagine all the damage control sessions Bill and Hilary rehearsed with the White House staff, the counsel, everyone. And it all gets undone by one little stain on one blue dress.
Well, as Bill would later on say – “it all depends what your definition of … IS … is”.
That’s it, isn’t it?
Definition.
Perception.
Judgment.
You are right, it all depends what your definition is and how and why it has gray areas so large an affair can fall through or hypocrisy can publicly be justified.
