Light from within

Thoughts
on light
She appeared lit from within
yes
as if she
carried a light deep
inside of her
the same light
we all carry
somehow
she had become closer to it
you could see the illumination
in the way
when she turned her head
the rays of light caught the angle of her face
brought a glow
of such soft golden proportions
you looked twice
and almost
almost needed to run your finger
an inch above
to see
if it radiated
